    Rodeo Friday & Saturday Nights All Summer:

    • Granby Rodeo The Flying Heel Arena is located on Highway 40 and host rip-roaring rodeo’s every Saturday from Memorial Day to the end of June.
    • Fraser Rodeo (High Country Stampede): Dubbed the best little Rodeo in Colorado, the High Country Stampede is a Saturday Night Classic in Fraser Valley.

    Golfing

    Threre are four golf courses in Grand County: Pole Creek, Grand Elk, Headwaters, and Grand Lake.  Come and see if the ball does fly higher at altitude!

    Rocky Mountain National Park

    Known as the western gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake offers easy and convenient access to one of the nation’s most well known national parks. It’s glorious mountain peaks, ranging as high as 14,000 feet above sea level, are home to an abundant variety of wildlife including the majestic big horn sheep, elk, mule deer, moose, coyotes and a great variety of smaller animals. (in the summer you can drive through the entire park to Estes Park, in the winter you may only access lower trails located close to the Grand Lake area).

    Snowmobiling

    The Winter Park and Fraser Snowmobile Trails are located in the Arapaho National Forest on the east and west side of Highway 40 near the towns of Fraser and Winter Park.

    Cat Skiing

    Powder Addiction is Grand County’s only Sno-Cat skiing operation

    Nordic & Cross Country Skiing

    With over 300 kilometers of groomed trail in five Nordic ski Grand County is a great place to learn how to ski.
