Beaver Village Condo 1633 Two Bedroom

"Great family Ski base"

We are return renters at Beaver Village. The condos are individually owned and all slightly different.This one is decorated in a ski rustic theme and comfortably furnished. There are 20 buildings in beaver village each containing 12 condos over 3 floors .This condo is on the top floor and had wifi access.The view is of dense pine trees.Some of the other buildings have better views ( 19 and 20) but are closer to the railway line ( there are trains sounding horns through the night).There is a separate clubhouse at the bottom of the hill housing a swimming pool, 3 hot tubs and coin operated laundry.There is a change machine .The washers take 27 minutes and are $1.75 ;the dryers take 63 minutes and are also $1.75 .There is a vending machine for detergent and also an ironing board. Towels and linens can be exchanged at the clubhouse and supplies of washing up liquid, dishwasher powder ,trash bags and toiletries may be replaced.Check in time is 4pm but we were lucky to be able to check in at 1pm as our room was ready early. The condos are on the free yellow line bus shuttle half hourly up to the Winter Park resort base and also into the town.At busy times Beaver Village Condos run their own buses in addition.Check out is at 10 am but it is possible to store baggage at the Clubhouse and use the facilities there later in the day. Heating is thermostatically controlled with a gas fireplace.This broke down once during our visit but was promptly attended to by the maintenance man. ( This happened also on a previous visit in a different unit)

"Great place to stay!"

We rented a 2-bedroom condo for our one-night trip to Winter Park. It was nicer than I expected. Beds were comfortable. Unit was very clean and nicely furnished. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We could easily recommend this to others; the only exception might be in the hottest summer months since it apparently lacks air conditioning. It was cool enough in mid-August that this wasn't a problem.
