"overpriced"

We booked at beaver village because it was the lodging for the freestyle racers families. First off we were charged $30 extra because we were only staying one night. When we arrived at the unit the heat was off and it took three hours for it to get remotely warm. I had to stay in my ski gear. No wood to start a fire. No fire starting material if there was wood. Extremely out dated decor. For a property not close to the ski mountain and so antiquated $170.00 a night is to much.

We are so very sorry for your troubles during your stay. Beaver Village Condominiums strives to ensure guest satisfaction when staying at our property. If we had known of your situation we may have been able to move you to another condo, but our front desk staff had not received a call from you. When a guest contacts us that has concerns or issues about a condo our goal is to resolve the situation immediately.

The rates we offered the ski team competitors was actually 25% off our normal nightly rate of 160.00, so the nightly rate was 120.00 each night. Most of the competitors stayed more than one night and did not have to pay the one night surcharge. Our company charges a one night surcharge to help pay the housekeeping fee. This is a standard fee that we have in place for all one night stays.

Each of our condos is individually owned which means that all of our condos have varying decor. Our company does have a standard that the owners must adhere to in order to be on our rental program. All of the owners have either completely updated their condos or have been adding updates each year. On the weekend of your stay we had only a very small selection of condos left for rent.

The housekeeping staff typically turns the heat down in our condos to conserve energy and cost for our homeowners. There are thermostats in each room so that the condos can heat up quickly once a guest checks in, but in order to speed up the process, all heaters in each room should be turned up to the comfort level of the guest. We do not stock firewood in the condos that have wood burning fireplaces, but do offer complimentary wood for our guests, the wood is stored in front of buildings 10 and 11. Once we receive a call from a guest asking about firewood, we then can direct them to the location for their wood pick up.

"Great option for Winter Park"

We stayed for 2 nights. It is a perfect setup. I nice big one bedroom with a lot of room for 2 kids. Nice complex with a pool. Buses to the resort. The only two downsides were the pull out couch wasn't the world's most comfortable and it's a bit of a long walk into town.
