Child Care at Winter Park Resort

Winter Park Resort offers child care to those parents that are interested in skiing or snowboarding but their children are not old enough to go on the mountain with them. This child care facility is located in the Kid's Adventure Junction Center at the base of Winter Park. Please be sure to pack familiar items for your little one. Complimentary pagers are provided for parents while their children are in day care.

Half and and full day programs available:
-Half days hours are from 8 am to 11:30 pm or 12:30 pm to 4 pm
-Full day hours are from 8 am to 4 pm

Ski School for 3 - 4 Year Olds

Do you have an adventurous child that is dreaming of becoming the next Olympian or the fastest skier in the west? Winter Park Resort offers a "non-chairlift" ski program for this type of child skier. Kid's first build basic skills in the special kid's teaching area called, Mount Maury, then progress to Discovery Park, the on mountain beginner area, via sleighs pulled by a snowmobile. Winter Park Resort Ski and Snowboard School for 5 - 17 Year Olds

Learn to ski or snowboard. Programs are either full or half days. Full day classes begin at 9:30 am and end at 3:00 p.m. Lunch is included with a full day lesson. Half days run from 12:30 pm to 3:15 pm. For more information, please contact: 800-729-7788

Winter Park Resort Ski and Snowboard School for 14 Years Olds and Older

Group lessons for skiers and snowboarders are available 7 days a week at Winter Park Resort. Lessons are two and half hours long. Classes begin at 9:30 am or 12:45 pm. Meet in front of West Portal Station at the base of Winter Park Resort.

The best deal out there is the Easy Start Package. This package is for first timer's and includes: lesson, lift and rentals. You can't beat this deal if this is your first time skiing or snowboarding!

Winter Park Resort Ski and Snowboard School Private Lessons

One on one lessons or a group lesson with your family. Lessons run from 1 1/2 hours to 6 hours, from 8 am, 9:30 am, 1 pm, 1:30 pm or 2:30 pm. Get the first or last tracks. For details and reservations, please call 800-729-7788.
