First of all, one of the best places that has activities for the entire family is Snow Mountain Ranch- YMCA of the Rockies. The "Y" as we call it around here, is located between 10 and 15 minutes from Beaver Village Condominiums. Activities range from swimming, roller skating, basketball, foosball and volleyball. The Y also boasts a climbing wall and for those that still are interested in participating in some type of outdoor activity, you may choose from xc skiing, sleigh rides, sledding and snowshoeing. Join us at the newly opened Fraser Valley Recreation Center. Located between Winter Park and Fraser, it's only 1.5 miles from Beaver Village Condos. The Rec. Center has an aquatics area with kids slide, pool, diving, lazy river and hot tubs. You will also find a climbing wall, inside track, basketball court, fitness center and more. Cozens Museum - Come inside and learn about the history of the Fraser Valley in the Cozens Museum. Once home to a founding family in our area and the first stage coach stop in Fraser, it's now a museum representing our history with local memorabilia and antique artifacts. Visit some of our local Characters in actual re-enactments of the era. The Museum is fun and offers a glimpse of how things used to be.
