Fraser Valley Recreation Center: Located between Winter Park and Fraser, it's only 1.5 miles from Beaver Village Condos. The Rec. Center has an aquatics area with kids slide, pool, diving, lazy river and hot tubs. You will also find a climbing wall, inside track, basketball court, fitness center and more. Cozens Museum: Come inside and learn about the history of the Fraser Valley in the Cozens Museum. Once home to a founding family in our area and the first stage coach stop in Fraser, it's now a museum representing our history with local memorabilia and antique artifacts. Visit some of our local Characters in actual re-enactments of the era. The Museum is fun and offers a glimpse of how things used to be. Mountain Biking & Hiking: We have over 600 miles of trails to choose from. Some of our favorite family friendly mountain biking trails are Northwest Passage and the Fraser River Trail. Another fun trail to check out is Creekside and Flume - two classic hiking or biking trails that show some of the scenic Winter Park views of Byers Peak. Hideaway Park Music | Park | Skate Park: A venue worth checkin out is Hideaway Park located in downtown Winter Park across from McDonald's (big grin) and the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce. If your kids like to play this is the place! The skatepark offers bowls and features perfect for a skateboard, bmx bike or scooters. Kids just be sure to wear your helmet! The park also offers an outdoor playground and grill plus picnic area. During the summer, free concerts occur each week, be sure to check out the schedule for High Note Thursdays.

Skiing & Snowboarding Winter Park Resort: In the winter season, most of our visitors opt to ski or snowboard as a family and who can blame them? After all our town is home to Colorado's Favorite ski resort - Winter Park Resort. For more information visit our resort page. Tubing Hill: Winter Park now boasts a total of three tubing hills. Winter Park Resort offers a tubing hill that opened in the 12- 13 ski season, check out our photo on Facebook. Our other tubing hills are located in Fraser right next to eachother, one is called the Colorado Outdoor Adventure Park and the Fraser Tubing Hill (the first one and the historic one).
