Crankworx Colorado

The fifth annual Crankworx Colorado Freeride Mountain Bike Festival is scheduled for July 28-31, 2011 in Winter Park, Colorado at Winter Park Resort.  The 2011 Bike Event schedule of events will be similar to the Crankworx 2010 Colorado Festival.  The Bike Event will include Slopestyle, Big Air, Cross Country and Super Downhill competitions.  Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the Crankworx event! 

A Little History on the Crankworx Event

Originating at Whistler Blackcomb, Crankworx Mountain Bike Festivals feature the best freeride mountain bikers from around the world. Winter Park Resort began hosting the Crankworx event four years ago.  Winter Park Resort is a perfect venue for this mountain bike event with its close proximity to Denver, it's name recognition as "Winter Park Resort is Mountain Bike Capital, USA™". 

Mountain Biking in Winter Park and the Fraser Valley

The town of Winter Park and Winter Park Resort boast over 50 miles of lift accessible mountain bike trails plus miles and miles of singletrack throughout the Fraser Valley.  Winter Park and the Fraser Valley has a variety of mountain bike trails for all ability levels so whether you are coming for the Crankworx 2011 Event as a spectator, a competitor or just coming to Winter Park to ride this summer, know that our community has the perfect mountain bike trail for you!
