Winter Park Carnival is almost here! This fun event started as Mary Jane’s Birthday Bash several years ago. As you may or may not know, Mary Jane was the infamous entreprenuer who made her way in Winter Park as a prostitute in the late 1800′s. Her unique talents awarded her a special place in the history of Winter Park and she is notably referenced when locals say “they skied Mary Jane’s backside”!
These days, Winter Park celebrates the festivities as a carnival with parade, dog sled races, music at the park, campfire in the park, pancake breakfast, and so much more! The Winter Park Carnival weekend will be fun for the whole family. We invite you to stay with us and take advantage of our great location which is close to town and the ski resort!
