Winter Park Music Festivals, July Summer Events from Solshine, Jazz Fest and Highnote Thursdays…..

The Chamber in the town of Winter Park, Colorado has really done a tremendous job in bringing numerous music events to our community this summer. We, as a business community, really appreciate all their efforts. Thank you Winter Park Chamber!

We also want to thank the town for providing such a great music venue – Hideaway Park. This venue, in the heart of Winter Park, is perfectly situated with views of the Continental Divide, lush green grass, a kids play area, picnic area and skateboard park complete with bowls, rails and jumps.

This year, the Winter Park Chamber again brought us the 9th Annual Blues from the Top, June 24 – 26, 2011. This music event is a great family friendly event! Blues from the Top is usually held in the last weekend of June and is a kick off to our summer concert series.

This July we anticipate more great music with Highnote Thursdays, a free concert series held on Thursday nights. Solshine, a brand new event for Winter Park, is another free concert on the weekend of July 16th. We even have a lodging deal for the Solshine weekend! This event is reminiscent of the American Music Festival that used to be held at Winter Park Resort in the late 90′s and early 2000′s.

The Winter Park Chamber again brings back the Jazz Festival July 24 – 25, this popular event packs downtown Winter Park and the surrounding Grand County. We want to again thank the Chamber for it’s hard work in bringing back this successful event year after year and the people that come back each year for the Jazz Fest. Back by popular demand, we are still offering the buy 2 get 3rd night free lodging deal.

9th Annual Winter Park Blues from the Top – Blues Fest in Winter Park Colorado

The Blues Society created the Blues Fest as one of the events that supports the “Blue Star Connection” (an organization that provides access to instruments for children with life threatening illnesses) and also “Blues in the Schools” that teaches kids in schools about blues music: the history, the instruments, music composition and also pairs students with blues musicians!
