First on the itinerary is Crankworx held this weekend July 28 – 31st at Winter Park Resort. Enjoy some of the wildest biking you have ever seen with riders hurling themselves off super steep jumps and gracefully landing on their two wheels, it is truly amazing to watch. Our next event is the American Music Festival presented by the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce and 103.5 the FOX. Rock out to music of the 80′s and 90′s with starts like Bret Michaels, Lewis & Floorwax and the Groove Hawgs. This concert is free and is on both Saturday and Sunday , August 6 and 7th in Hideaway Park, located in downtown Winter Park Colorado. We even have a deal for this special free summer concert. How about some icy cold beer on a hot sunny day! Join us in Winter Park for the Winter Park Beer Festival – this August summer event is taking place August 13th from 12 noon to 5 pm. While drinking and sampling this icy cold refreshing beverage called, “beer”, enjoy music from the Bo Deans, Motopy and Universally Famous Rocket Surgeons. This is a day you do not want to miss! Take the train from Iowa, Nebraska, Denver and arrive the afternoon/evening in Winter Park.
Beaver Village Condominiums staff to pick you up at Amtrak station then deliver to clubhouse for check. Check into your condo.
Walk to Hideaway Park in down-town Winter Park and enjoy a FREE concert in beautiful down-town park surrounded by the mountains of the Colorado Divide.

Hunker Down is a hard driving acoustic band that is carving a new sound while paying respect to the traditions that came before them. Their music is spicy blend of many influences that they have decided to dub “stewed rompgrass.” Hunker Down fans have become accustomed to high energy shows that lift spirits and leave bodies sore from dancing so hard. The group has grown to five members, though any combination of players has been known to rock its share of crowds.

Sleep in or walk to town and explore the town of Winter Park. Ask the staff at Beaver Village Condominiums for breakfast recommendations then check out the skate park with your family in Hideaway Park – many of the locals are fun to watch on their skate boards or bikes in the skate park. Walk to the ArtAffair set up in downtown Winter Park, this craft fair opens up on Saturday. If you get to the Craft Fair early, go to the yellow trailer and enjoy the Lions Club Pancake Breakfast – those pancakes will keep you full as you stroll through the art exhibition. Getting thirsty and want to hear a little music? Then head to Hideaway Park, located in the heart of downtown Winter Park Colorado and enjoy the Winter Park Beer Festival! Sunday is the day to make your Art Affair purchases since you are not in a rush to get to the Winter Park Beer Festival! You may also want to stop back at those shops in the town of Winter Park to pick up some of those last minute gifts! Take in those gorgeous mountain views as you make your way back to the Beaver Village Condos complex and perhaps get to bed early so you are rested for the train ride home. Check in again with the front desk staff their recommendations for dinner or skip dinner tonight and just eat leftovers. Monday, August 15, 2011: Pack your vacation items and gifts and get ready for the ride home. Hopefully you charged your camera batteries or cell phone so you can take some photos of the mountains and wildflowers for memories of your trip to Winter Park. Get ready for a ride back to the Amtrak Station from the staff at Beaver Village Condos and make plans to come back again next summer or even next winter for a ski trip vacation!
